Keyword-SearchEssen, 28.06.24 – The CarboTech Group, the full-service provider in the field of activated carbon from Essen, is continuing to invest in its site this year, despite the current economic crisis that is affecting many industries throughout Germany.
While the focus of investment in recent years has been on the expansion of production facilities, logistics and research and development, this year’s investment of EUR 1.5 million will see the expansion and conversion of the administration building.
“As Managing Director, it’s great to be able to record such strong growth as CarboTech has achieved in recent years. It is essential that the location and infrastructure also grow to meet the challenges. We have achieved this through extensive investment in our production facilities, logistics and research and development.
Now the administration building will follow, which will not only be energy-efficient, but also visually fit in with the modern and efficient CarboTech. We are thus consistently pursuing our sustainability and growth strategy,” says Daniel Böke, Managing Director of the CarboTech Group.
CarboTech is becoming even greener
In addition to modern thermal insulation and external shading, the building will also be fitted with a photovoltaic system, which will make the company less dependent on the electricity grid and more sustainable in future.
For years, the administration building’s heat supply has been based on the use of the company’s own heat from the production of activated carbon. An additional supply of municipal gas is therefore not necessary.
“In addition, we will further optimize processes and simplify procedures for our colleagues through conversion measures in the administration building, which will lead to better standardized processing of our customer orders and make us even more efficient,” the Managing Director continues.
The company’s compass is clearly pointing towards the future and is therefore ideally equipped to become one of the best-known employers in Essen.More about sustainability at the CarboTech Group
