Decolourisation of sugar and gelatine

Production of sugar, gelatine and organic acids calls for filtration. This is due to the importance of decolourisation and colour matching. Activated carbons from CarboTech have a coarse pore structure, making them good at absorbing colour molecules.

These are often particularly “bulky”, making our chemically activated carbons the products of choice for this application as they achieve the optimum cleaning results.
