CONFERENCES AND CONGRESSES
Swimming pool seminar, 10th April 2025,
Wettingen, SwitzerlandOn 10 April 2025, experts in the field of swimming pool water will meet at the renowned swimming pool seminar in Tägi Wettingen, near Zurich. Experts from various fields will come together to exchange ideas on the latest developments in swimming pool technology and water treatment. A particular highlight of the event is the lecture by IMPAG AG, a new CarboTech cooperation partner, which will make an important contribution to the quality assurance of swimming pools with its lecture on ‘Chlorate in bathing water – current status’. In addition, Dr.-Ing. Jan Hojak from CarboTech will give a lecture on efficient water treatment using activated carbon. CarboTech’s activated carbon has been used successfully in swimming pool water filters for many years because it is able to effectively adsorb harmful substances such as trihalomethanes and chlorohydrogen substances. This ensures a safe and pleasant bathing experience. By taking part in this important event, CarboTech aims to share its expertise in water treatment while also benefiting from the presentations and discussions with other experts. The event is a valuable opportunity to learn about the latest findings and further expand our expertise in the field of water quality assurance.
PRC Europe 2025, Mai 19 - Mai 21
Milan, ItalyThe Petrochemical & Refining Congress: Europe 2025 (PRC 2025) is taking place for the 9th time this year. This is a congress where industry leaders, experts and innovators come together to discuss progress and strategies for decarbonising the downstream oil and gas sector. The main topics of discussion will be the production of sustainable fuels, the hydrogen ecosystem, plant optimisation, the circular economy, resource efficiency, technologies, and innovations. As a manufacturer and distributor of activated carbons, which offer solutions in water and wastewater treatment as well as in air and gas purification, we will of course be represented by Cansu Dilmen (Head of International Sales) and Oswaldo Luengas (Applications Engineer). We are pleased about a sustainably efficient and constructive exchange at our CarboTech booth.
36th German Zeolite Conference together with Adsorption Annual Meeting, 26.02. - 28.02.2025
Erlangen, GermanyThe 36th German Zeolite Conference (DZT) and the Adsorption Annual Meeting of the DECHEMA Group is the largest conference in Germany on the topic of adsorption technology and applications of porous materials. The event covers news on synthesis and characterization as well as process development for porous materials applications. As a market leader in the activated carbon business with over 80 years of experience in the development, production and application of carbon-based adsorbents, CarboTech is, of course, actively participating in the event. Our experts will present the latest developments from the research. The main topics will be gas separation using carbon molecular sieves and drinking water treatment using our high-quality activated carbons. This year, CarboTech is sponsoring the event in order to continue to support the German adsorption community. We look forward to your visit at the end of February at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg in Hall 7 and 9.
