Our management team introduces itself.

Daniel Böke

Daniel Böke has been Managing Director of the CarboTech Group since the end of 2019. With a degree in business administration, he previously gained extensive experience in the management of medium-sized chemical companies, for which he served as CEO, COO and CFO. Since 2014, Daniel Böke has been active at the ICI Group, the parent company of the CarboTech Group. In line with his life motto "Nothing is as constant as change", Daniel Böke and his management colleagues are pursuing the goal of positioning CarboTech as an innovative medium-sized company with sustainable products, an internationally active service and top-motivated employees who question things on a daily basis. In doing so, he relies on young, ambitious junior staff, whom he actively challenges and promotes as a coach. In his private life, the married father of two children enjoys traveling and, despite all the professional challenges, still finds the time to do sport regularly.

Sascha Vornweg

The graduate finance manager began his career at CarboTech in 2020 in the Controlling department. After a short time, he is now responsible for CarboTech's financial strategy as Commercial Director. He has never regretted his early decision against a career in a large corporation, because actively shaping change and contributing his own ideas are an indispensable part of his daily motivation. With commitment and passion, he and his team develop innovative solutions and new processes that position the company for the future. He attaches particular importance not only to taking on strategic tasks, but also to implementing operational projects with a hands-on mentality. In his free time, he is active in sports - especially fitness and soccer - and loves spontaneous trips where he gains new perspectives and ideas.

Daniel Mandau

The third member of the CarboTech management team is Daniel Mandau. He has been involved with coal throughout his entire career, starting with an underground apprenticeship at Bergwerk West, but also later as a service technician at customers' plants for on-site activated carbon changes. Since then, the father of two has never let go of the topic, especially since he joined the CarboTech team as Head of Service in 2022. With the help of his pronounced pragmatism, his conceptual strength and his product and professional experience with activated carbon, he has positioned CarboTech with the “Service” division and its many different components as a future-proof full-service provider.
