Our management team introduces itself.
Daniel Böke has been Managing Director of the CarboTech Group since the end of 2019. With a degree in business administration, he previously gained extensive experience in the management of medium-sized chemical companies, for which he served as CEO, COO and CFO. Since 2014, Daniel Böke has been active at the ICI Group, the parent company of the CarboTech Group. In line with his life motto "Nothing is as constant as change", Daniel Böke and his management colleagues are pursuing the goal of positioning CarboTech as an innovative medium-sized company with sustainable products, an internationally active service and top-motivated employees who question things on a daily basis. In doing so, he relies on young, ambitious junior staff, whom he actively challenges and promotes as a coach. In his private life, the married father of two children enjoys traveling and, despite all the professional challenges, still finds the time to do sport regularly.
Jörg Haermeyer has been with the CarboTech Group since 2020 - initially as Business Development Manager, then as Head of Sales DACH and Business Development. The trained industrial clerk, industrial mechanic and drive technician began his career in the German Navy - and thus at sea. To this day, he remembers the incredible camaraderie - combined with the knowledge that everyone was working towards the common goal. Jörg Haermeyer transfers this experience into his leadership style: He encourages his team every day to find solutions together and on their own responsibility and to work for the "big picture". Jörg Haermeyer brings his experience as Managing Director of an air technology company and as Area Sales Manager of one of the world's leading companies in drive and fluid technology to the table. For him, the "imperfect is sometimes more perfect" - in other words, mistakes can be made as long as the team stands by them and learns from them. In his private life, the father of three relaxes with various sporting activities, such as swimming, stand-up paddling, soccer or golf.
Felix Niermann, who studied mechanical engineering, has been passionate about plant engineering and construction since the beginning of his professional training. So it was only natural to start his career at CarboTech in 2017 in the service department. Just one year later, Felix Niermann became plant manager at the age of just 27 and has since been responsible for the group's entire activated carbon production. As a young manager, he loves analyzing and improving existing processes together with his team and developing and trying out new things. In doing so, he relies on a cooperative management style in which he defines the goal and supports his employees along the way. It is particularly important to him to encourage young people who want to take on responsibility and to support them in their development. When he's not scrutinizing part of CarboTech's production, Felix Niermann enjoys sports - especially fitness.
