CarboTech at the IFAT 2024

Essen, 02.04.24 – IFAT will take place again this year from 13.05. – 17.05.2024 in Munich. The world’s leading trade fair for water, wastewater and environmental technologies is groundbreaking for the entire industry and presents solutions for the extensive challenges facing waterworks, among others.

For example, pollution in water and wastewater has increased massively due to the increased use of pharmaceuticals or pollutants from agriculture and industry. At the same time, new key issues are constantly emerging, such as the current issue of PFAS (perfluorinated and polyfluorinated alkyl compounds).

Returning to the circular economy – the contribution to greater sustainability

For many sewage treatment plants, the only economical solution is to install a 4th purification stage, in which CarboTech’s high-quality Clean Water and Drinking Water activated carbon in particular promises the best purification performance with a long service life.

In addition, the decision to use activated carbon as a filter medium makes a positive contribution to sustainability, as it can be reused several times after treatment at our plant in Essen, thereby protecting the environment and conserving resources – without any loss of quality or service life.
